NMWF Applauds Reauthorization of FLTFA

Today the House Natural Resources Committee unanimously passed the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act (FLTFA) reauthorization. New Mexico Wildlife Federation organized a sign on letter representing the western affiliates of the National Wildlife Federation, in support of H.R. 5133, the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act Reauthorization of 2018, a critical lands bill for the West that supports local economies, resolves private-public land “checkerboard” issues, and conserves high-priority lands for recreation, wildlife habitat, and historic preservation.We join our affiliates in applauding the House Natural Resources Committee for passing this important legislation in support of our public lands.
