The state Water and Natural Resources Interim Committee will convene in Taos from September 28 - 30, 2026.

The New Mexico Wildlife Federation’s executive director, Jesse Deubel, will present on two topics at the meeting on September 30th:

• Black Bears: Managing Human-Wildlife Conflicts

• Elk Private Land Use System (EPLUS) Updates

This public meeting is available for public attendance and members of the public may make virtual public comments during the public comment period of the meeting by following the instructions under the "Additional Information" section of the Water and Natural Resources Committee web page.
